Turtle Creek Oil Company is an independent oil and gas company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Our business is the acquisition, development and operation of domestic oil and gas properties, principally in Texas and Louisiana. We are guided by those enduring pillars upon which the industry has long depended: geology, engineering, capital discipline and informed judgment. Properties are studied with care; operations and the employment of capital are governed by empirical evidence, sound engineering and experience. We often join with industry partners whose relationships with us have been formed and sustained over decades. The oil business, through all its changes of fortune, has never been exempt from uncertainty. Prices rise and decline, circumstances alter, and the drilling of a well carries risks which no confidence or ingenuity can wholly remove. For this reason, developmental drilling in proven fields remains the principal occupation of our company. We believe that independent ownership, patience and a long perspective offer distinct advantages in a business where haste has often proved more costly than caution.
